Coolum Beach Boardwalk

The Milky Way season is almost over, so I went location hunting last Saturday. I decided to checkout Coolum Beach Boardwalk as I had planned to shoot here last year but didn't quite make it. I grabbed some sunset shots on Saturday but due to time constraints I decided to come back another night for the Milky Way.

I thought of giving it a go tonight. Even though I knew there might be cloud cover tonight, I decided to head out and give it a go anyway. I managed to get a few Milky Way shots before the clouds rolled in but I kept on shooting. I got some nice captures of the clouds glowing from the ground lights. I used my phone light to illuminate the boardwalk structure and wow, it created a stunning combo. I also took photos of the stars dazzling over the ocean. This set of shots is packed with a lot of moods and colours from golden sunset to twinkling stars to cloud-covered skies. I am glad I kept on shooting to seize them all :-)
