Shots from the weekend

After settling into my new home, I found myself staring at blank walls that were begging for some personality. I’ve got plenty of wall art in the pipeline but most of it still needs to be shot. So instead of diving into my massive archive to pick a few favourites, I decided to flip the script and create something new.

Choosing just three standout images from my catalogue felt like trying to pick a favourite star in the sky. So I grabbed my gear and headed out for a weekend shoot, aiming to capture fresh moments that felt right for this new space.

I kicked things off at my trusted escape, Cabarita Beach, where I captured some stunning Milky Way shots under the night sky. The next morning, I headed south to Fingal Head, and launched the drone to grab aerial views of the causeway.

The following day took me further down the coast to South West Rocks, where I finally visited the iconic Smoky Cape Lighthouse. Each location offered its own unique energy and visual rhythm. The light, the mood, the textures… everything came together beautifully.
