Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World

Today I ventured out to Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World. It was an unforgettable experience. The Bird World housed extensive range of wild and colorful birds. They were very people friendly. I am anti caging but very quickly changed my mind when told that 80% of the birds in the house were surrendered and were once family pets. They won't survive in the wild.

The gardens have amazing views of Glass House Mountains as the backdrop. This is a very good place to relax if you don't mind driving and hour and half from Brisbane. Below are some photos from my visit today.
